Nylon grommets are used when passing stainless steel wire rope through steel, aluminium or even timber posts. These UV stabilised, high density polythene grommets give a neat appearance as well as protection from wire chafe and electrolysis.
Nylon Grommets are commonly used in balustrading where a larger hole drilled to accomodate the swage fitting needs to be reduced to the size of the wire rope.
